Safety Demonstrations

High Voltage Safety Demonstration

The Member Services Department of Surry-Yadkin Electric Membership Corporation has a miniature high voltage power line that can be displayed at schools and events for a safety presentation.

The purpose of this presentation is to stress the importance of knowing what to do and who to call if an electrical wire is found on the ground. The program also stresses the need to work safely around power lines.

This presentation is available for schools, fire departments and other organizations upon request. After hours scheduling is possible for evening meetings. Contact David White, Manager of Member Services at (336) 356-8241 for further information.
