Payment Options

Surry-Yadkin EMC offers a variety of payment options to our members.

  • Mail - Bills may be paid by mail. We ask that you please do not mail cash! 

  • Office - You are welcome to bring your payment into our office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

  • Night Drop Box - If you need to make a payment with a check or money order after hours, you are welcome to place a payment in our night drop box.  We ask that you include your bill stub and include your account number on the envelopes provided so your account is credited correctly.

  • Online - Members now have the ability to view and pay their bills online.  You will need an email address and your account number to register.  

  • Payment by Phone - Payments can be made by phone using a Visa, Mastercard or Discover credit or debit card.  An automated system can process your payment through our office number but to save time, you can call 1-888-223-2059 to skip a step and make your payment by phone as well.

  • Retail Locations:  Payments can now be made at area Wal-Mart stores, and the La Tapatia store in Dobson, for a minimal fee (set by the retailer).  You must present your electric bill when paying. Payments made at retail locations will post to your account in 1-3 business days.  Please note - if your account is subject for disconnection, please choose another method of payment so there will not be an interruption of service.
  • Bank Draft - By providing us your bank routing and account number, we can set your account up on Automatic Bank Draft.  If you are interested, please call our Billing Department at (336) 356-8241 and we will send you a form to complete and return, along with a voided check.  Your account will be drafted based on your billing cycle so contact our office for that information.

  • Debit or Credit Card Recurring Payment - If you would like to have a debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Discover) set up on an automatic payment, please visit our online payment section to set this up or contact a representative in our office for assistance.
