Budget Billing

Are you a member who lives on a fixed income or would like to know what to expect each month on your power bill?  By enrolling in our Budget Billing payment plan members can take the worry and uncertainty out of fluctuating electric bills by paying the same amount each month.  Those members with residential accounts who have at least 12 months of billing history at their current location are eligible to enroll in the Budget Billing Plan.  The monthly payment amount is computed from the average of the last 12 months' usage.  We perform an annual recalculation of these payments in June of each year with the new payment amounts reflected on the July bills.  If you have a credit, we mail you a check in June.  If your usage increased from the previous year and you used more than was budgeted, we will send you a bill stating the amount due in June.

In order to remain on the Budget Billing plan, the monthly payment must be paid when due.  Failure to pay on or before the due date will automatically remove your account from this plan.  If you wish to sign up for the Budget Billing Payment Plan, please contact our Billing Department at (336) 356-8241 or 1-800-682-5903.
